About Me
Hello, please call me Muse. I enjoy drawing as well as painting. I have worked with graphite, ink, charcoal, oil pastel, watercolor, and acrylic mediums. Currently, I work most with ink, creating stippling and line drawings.
As a writer, I also create art in word form. I have started a volume of work based on my life and perspective called ‘You and Me’.
The name "namusefully" comes from a combination of my last name, Muse, and the word namaste. Namaste is a concept meaning that there is a divine spark in each of us, and that the light in me can recognize the light in you. The Muses were 9 Greek goddesses, daughters of Zeus, that presided over the arts. A muse is also a woman, or a force personified as a woman, that serves as inspiration. Lastly, muse also means to be absorbed in thought; to do something musefully is to do so with careful consideration or thoughtfully.
