My name is Brittanie Muse. I create in many different mediums-- words, graphite, ink, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, clay. No matter the medium, all of my work is deeply personal and original. In that way, I am both the artist and the muse.
The name "namusefully" comes from a combination of my last name, Muse, and the word namaste. Namaste is a concept meaning that there is a divine spark in each of us, and that the light in me can recognize the light in you. The Muses were 9 Greek goddesses, daughters of Zeus, that presided over the arts. A muse is also a woman, or a force personified as a woman, that serves as inspiration. Lastly, muse also means to be absorbed in thought; to do something musefully is to do so with careful consideration or thoughtfully. I combine and represent all of these ideas through everything I create.
